Prior to that they called other grills "Genesis". See note below.There is a different kit if you have a small or older Weber. This does not fit the Weber Genesis Silver A, B, C, Genesis 1000 - 5500, Genesis Gold B, C, Platinum B, C. Ordered the correct unit and installed it found that the groove in the rod nearest the motor did not line up with the BBQ sidewall slot(1/4 inch off) causing the rod to work its way out of the motor and dump the meat on the flame arresters. Poor workman ship. I am going to have to go to a machine shop and have a new slot machined in the rod for this to work. I am also going to have another groove machined in the opposite side of the grill lined up with left side wall where the basket rod comes out. Where is the QC?????
