Gauge works well and gives you plenty of time to plan for swapping out old tank or having it refilled. Gauge has three scales allowing user to adjust interpretation of reading based on ambient tempertatures.Haven't tried the cheaper guages that stick to outside of tank so can't comment on how well they work, though they are less expensive.Recommended. Product Description

The Char-Broil CB740X charcoal grill is the smaller cousin to the CB940X. It has 356 sq. inches of cooking space on cast iron grates, an adjustable height fire grate, adjustable dampers, front access door, a removable ash pan for easy cleanup, a 3-inch professional temperature gauge, and a bottom shelf for convenient storage. The folding side shelves make this a good grill for smaller patios. The CB740X also features 4 casters for easy mobility of the grill, 2 of which lock to keep grill securely in place on nearly any surface.

Char-Broil CB740X Charcoal Grill Review

I really wanted the larger version of this grill but Char-Broil discontinued it. I hope they bring it back at a reasonable price. But back to this grill...

Th CB740X is made of heavy metal -- none of the thin sheet steel that feels like it will burn through in no time. The lid is very heavy and thick to hold the heat in. The side shelves fold down for storage and come with the wood cutting boards secured in the frames. The charcoal tray is adjustable to control cooking temperature. Cast iron grills hold in heat and leave perfect grill marks. I like this grill.

Once again, just in case Char-Broil is listening: bring back the CB940X.

Char-Broil Performance TRU Infrared 480 3-Burner Gas Grill with Side Burner Review

This grill works wonderfully. It has three burners under the hood and an additional burner on the left side as well as a tray on the right side. I have been very happy with how the grill operates and cooks. I love medium rare steak and every time I cook my 1" thick steak two minutes on one side, four minutes on the other, and then two minutes back on the first side I get a perfectly done piece of meat. Brats sit nicely in the grooves. There is also a warming grid above the main three burners that I use for vegetables, potatoes, etc. The burners light with an electronic ignition.

My main complaint with the grill was the assembly. Unfortunately holes didn't line up exactly right so assembling the grill was extremely difficult , the explanation of hooking up the side burner wasn't clear (I was able to find answers by searching the various web help sites), and popping in the warming grid was an exercise in frustration. I definitely would suggest finding someone to professionally assemble the grill.

Nevertheless we got the grill built and going in a long afternoon, so the worst was behind us. Now we just enjoy the food we cook! We've only used the grill for two months, so if anything changes I'll update this review.

GrillPro 24794 Non-Stick Fish Basket Review

We had a square "cage" from WorldMarket before, for grilling fish and such, but it was quite heavy and unyielding. This new gadget is much easier to handle. Like one of the other reviewers, I was a bit skeptical about the closing ring staying closed, but it has worked well so far. And with it's smaller size, it fits in the sink better and is much easier to clean than the big cage we had before. For a nice trout for two, one of those cages is big enough. I bought 2 for grilling 2 separate filets, and that works out well, too. We're very happy with this product!

Happy Jalape�o Roaster Grill Review

I received one of these as a gift and love to use it whenever I have company coming over. I always have request for my grilled stuffed peppers and they never last long once my guests arrive. This product is stainless steel and easy to clean, just use soap and water, let dry and it's all ready to use again. I am def. getting serveral of these as gifts this holiday season, anyone reading this should do the same. Recipes were included and I've come up with a few on my own...try shrimp or crab with cheddar cheese and a little creole seasoning, works very well for me.

King Kooker SS26PKS 26-Quart Stainless Steel Turkey Pot Package Review

We recently purchased the King Kooker Stainless Steel Pot after our aluminum one developed a hole in the bottom of it, rendering it useless, after only 6 uses. What a big difference in the quality of stainless vs aluminum. The pot is obviously heavier but I would definitely not consider it heavy. We have used it only two times but the success was great. The heat was evenly distributed and the turkeys and chickens cooked perfectly. I highly recommend stainless especially with all the negative things coming out regrading cooking with aluminum.
