I ordered these to replace far too many whimpy skewers that I I've wasted money on over the years. Grill Time shipped them the day after I ordered them and they arrived a couple of days later. They are all that I expected and perhaps a bit more!
They are, of course flat so food doesn't spin and they are long and sturdy. The wooden handle means you can turn them when you forget your BBQ mitt and not burn your hands. These are too wide for small things like cherry tomatoes but perfect for shrimp, meat chunks, onions etc. For delicate food you might want to use a paring knife to make a starter hole.
Super product, great service and made in the USA. What more could you ask for?

I just started using this last night when I had flu symptoms: my head was feverish and my muscles had chilly pains. I kept the latter at bay with ibuprophen, then used the Freez Pak under my head. I insulated myself with the hood of my sweatshirt, though this was probably not necessary. The FP provided an all-night, steady release of comfortable and soothing coolness. The casing is thick and flexible plastic and gives the prospect of long use.

On the down side, the FP is taking a long time to charge in the freezer. The other 2 of the set are just getting to the "squishy-crackly" stage when squeezed and they've been in for six hours. If you're doing a picnic and want them hard, have your freezer set at coldest and give them overnight.
