I have the King Griller Duo and was quite excited to get this addon unit... Ok first this isn't a professional grill so get over the fact that there are gaps in and around the door. If you look up theses units people go to extreme lengths to repaint them and seal the gaps... At this time I am not bothering as I found the unit was great for indirectly cooking on the charcoal side of my grill. Now I haven't tried smoking but apart from a disastrous attempt to cook broccoli which came out way to smoked the results from indirect cooking were awesome. Chicken and Salmon cooked really well and had a very natural smokey taste which my whole family enjoyed. As far and regards the construction, the grills and the smoker have a panel that is removed by undoing a number of bolts no chiseling or cutting required and I assembled the two together without help. I have used the smoker for 2 sessions at this time and so far have had no warping or problems with construction.
