I recently bought a Masterbuilt propane smoker, and confirmed what the reviews said about the temperature gauge accuracy, it ain't. After some research on a couple of smoking forums I decided to get the Tel-tru thermometer and Amazon had the best price. Per shipping note I had to wait a little over 2 weeks for delivery. I ordered it on June 13 and received it 1 July. I installed it in my smoker yesterday and used it today with an oven thermometer and found it to be very accurate. It was within 5 degrees of the oven thermometer, which is far better than the 50 degree discrepancy I had with the Masterbuilt supplied gauge. In my opinion, it is very well built, accurate, and well worth the price paid.
