I bought this grill for my 5' x 12' urban deck. I technically have enough room to squeeze in a full-sized grill, but it would feel cluttered. This grill looked perfect online -- but at over 500 dollars, I hemmed and hawed about whether to get it last year. This summer, when I got a (huge) gift card from work, I bit the bullet. Couldn't be happier (almost).PROS:
- amazing style, everyone who comes over compliments how stylish and convenient it is
- solid cooking, great cast iron top cooks well
- surprisingly large surface area given the profile
- stainless steel looks great
- way better than getting one of those mini-canister "portable" grills
- the propane tank is completely hidden
- thermometer is a nice touch
- I don't care what others say... the metal cover over the tank is easy to take on and off
CONS:
- THE REGULATOR LEAKED UPON ARRIVAL - fortunately, I know how to do a quick leak test with soapy water, found the problem, and bought a new regular at the local hardware store for fifteen dollars... still, no ideal
- no shelf space - I wish I had paid the extra one fifty for the stainless steel version that has a swing-out wooden shelf; instead, I ordered the 50 buck accessory shelf which doesn't really cut it; fortunately, I have a patio table next to it that I commandeer while grilling
MINOR NITS:
- the grill lid has a "hook" to hang it on the handles, but only on the right side!
- the grill lid handle still requires a glove to pull off
