GrillPro 24795 Stuffed Burger Press Review

I bought this burgrer press at my local grocery store. It came with no instructions and after watching several videos on how to use different competeting presses I think I figured it out.

To use I first placed a small ball of hamburger in the bottom and used the larger press to make a 1/4" cap. I removed the cap, placed it on some wax paper and proceeded to make the bottom which is stuffed. I removed the smaller press by twisting it off the large press and filled the bottom with enough meat to bring it about a 1/4" from the top. Using the smaller shaped press to build a pocket to stuff your ingredients no further up then the top part of the pocket. Then take your cap and place in on top of the pocketed bottom and use the large press to seal the cap without squeezing the stuffing out. I found that the meat will stick to the surfaces even after using Pam t but it can be removed carefully. This whole process will take about a 1/2 pound of meat to built one stuff burger. I did oil my grill first yet in my first attempt when cooking it the cap came off on the grill when trying to flip the burger. Also too much stuffing lifted the cap up. Next time I will make sure that the cap is firmly attached and sealed before cooking.

I gave this three stars because of lack of proper instructions, the stuff shape part of the press in hard to keep center and the cap when cooking does not staying in place. It is a little better than hand making but I would look for a better burger press.

This press does make is better than doing it by hand but requires careful control to do it properly.
