Music City Metals 63262 Matte Cast Iron Cooking Grid Replacement for Select Broil King and Sterling Gas Grill Models, Set of 2 Review

The description claims that it fits the Monarch 40, but in reality it doesn't. There are small cutouts one can see on the picture, but in these replacement grates they're circular instead of square like they are on the factory grates. These circular cutouts don't fit the posts in the grill body, so these grates don't sit all the way down in the grill. I don't want my brats falling off my grill so I had to return them.

Aside from that they seem to be perfectly fine if they fit in other grill models, and they did season up nicely in my oven (but I should have done a test fit first).

Update: Changed my review from one to three stars after some modifications. Instead of returning the grill plates, I grabbed a carbide bit for my rotary tool and went to town on the cutouts on the grill. After quite a bit of grinding I was able to make them fit the Monarch 40 correctly, and now I'm grilling like a champ again.

Recommended if you don't mind a little dirty work.
