Keg-A-Que Charcoal Portable Grill - Model# 10004R Review

The Keg-A-Que was a cool concept for me. It happened to be half off at a World Market by where I live, and I had to have it. Suffice to say, the reliability of this product seems shoddy at best.

The legs of the unit are kinda loosely "snapped" in, making the unit wobble when moved (scary when you have a charcoal fire and hot grease DX) One of the nuts came threaded, so the hinge is not completely securely fastened onto the unit. They gave you a *bunch* of little rings that aren't level at all, and serve no purpose other than to get lost in the carpet and get eaten by the vacuum cleaner. The heating rack is held on by prayers and wishful thoughts. I don't see the point in the warming rack because you can't close the lid of the grill and still not have the stuff you had on the warming rack fall off.

I have not had a chance to use it yet, but having spent the better part of two hours trying to figure out what goes where and how tightly (the instructions are pretty terrible; I gave up on them after the second item), I am a bit hesitant to even use it. Hopefully all works out OK.

Masterbuilt All Stainless Steel Nfusion Cooking Grill Review

Upon receipt of our new Masterbuilt Nfusion grill, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was about 70 percent pre-assembled. Only the side shelves/side burner needed to be attached, along with a few internal cabinet attachments. Unfortunately, there were (2) screws stripped in the burner area, and (1) missing cabinet screw. I was able to repair the stripped holes, and I had a matching stainless steel screw to replace the missing one, but I had to take 1 star off for the fault... now on to performance.

I have used the grill twice since receiving it, and it is working exactly as expected. The searing station gives a perfect sear, and cooking time is nearly half of our old, non-infrared gas grill. I did some pork steaks, about 3/4 inch thick, in 8 minutes total cooking time, to an internal temperature of 145-150 degrees F., and they were perfect, tender and juicy. On Christmas day, I grilled some 1-1/4 inch T-bone steaks, searing each side twice for a total 8 minute sear, and finished on the indirect side for an additional 8 minutes under hickory smoke from the smoker box… once again, perfectly cooked to 130-135 degrees internal, good char on the outside, and still a blush of pink in the middle.

I think we will like this grill…

I bought this burner for my CharBroil grill. The original burner and venturis burned/rusted out in less than a year. I went to the Lowes store where I originally bought the grill and guess what? They only sell universal parts, though they are made by CharBroil too, so they must fit. WRONG! I came to Amazon, as I so often do when brick and mortar stores let me down. This item is solid stainless steel, fit my grill perfectly, and is so much sturdier and heavier than the original. I am very happy with this part!

Sutherland Bistro Picnic Basket for 4 - SW502 - Red & White Checker Review

My understanding of the description was that this was a quality basket and that it was well made. The plates are very small--snack plates at best, the straps are cheap vinyl and not the leather that was described, and one of the straps that hold the plates has already come off. Even the basket itself was cheaply made and looks as though it won't hold up. I am sending this back for a refund.
