Reluctantly, 4 stars...The functionality and design of this item are fine, but the color of the product online is entirely misleading. Rather than a smooth brown canvas, as I perceived from the picture, this is a hideous brown/black tweed. I opted for brown as it was a few dollars less than the blue (why?), but if it is the same tweed-like material the brown one is, it would make no difference.
The picture depicts brown-handled cutlery and plates with apparent brown trim. The unit I received has off-white cutlery and peach-trimmed plates. I may have missed it on the site if it stated I would be sent a similar model.
I will not be returning it because it is a hassle (perhaps just what the vendor hoped I would think). I still like the features and think it is cleverly designed for its intended function. Fortunately, I will be attending outdoor evening events where the color will not be too apparent. I am sure it will do the trick - but it is not pretty and not as depicted in the image; I resent deceptive representation.
