these seem like they will never wear out!! I run a hot dog cart and was replacing the foil ones every 3 weeks (daily use). I put these on last week and they're awesome. The tube bends pretty easily to get the angle you need and then there is a tiny screw to loosen at the end where it hooks to your control knob- once you loosen the screw a metal tube slides out to fit onto your control knob- giving you the length you need- i would say it slides out about 3 inches.
