These gloves are "one size fits all," which usually works OK for me with most brands of disposable gloves - but these are QUITE LOOSE on me (I wear a women's 7 1/2 in sized gloves). Also, they ARE relatively expensive, and not subject to free shipping. So, with the expense and the sturdiness, I do not treat them as disposables - I'm on the same pair I started using when I ordered these over a month ago. I use them for "light" garden chores (like watering and pulling a weed or two) because I am so sensitive to poison ivy, even a little residue left on a garden hose gives me a bad case that makes it necessary to take prescription medication. For heavier garden and household chores I use the thick blue flock-lined gloves (I think they come in both latex and Nitrile - I've never paid attention because fortunately I do not have a latex allergy). My skin is sensitive anyhow (and has become more so as I've aged), so I wear gloves even to load the dishwasher and wipe down the table and countertops, with unscented "nontoxic" liquid cleaner, of course. For chores like dishwashing (especially when glassware or "good stuff" is involved), the heavy-duty lined blue gloves are so thick that they are too insensitive, and the disposables are so thin that I can't use really hot water (even these green Magla gloves, which are the heaviest disposables I have ever seen). My husband has not used them yet (I wouldn't give him a product this expensive for a chore like changing a printer cartridge), but he would probably like them; he complains that most "one size fits all" disposables are too small for men (and he really hates POWDER, and we both prefer unscented products). So, these are nice, but relatively expensive, and probably not necessary for most people.
