Stainless Steel Skewer Kebab BBQ 16" Set of 6 Pcs Review

I researched skewers on Amazon for an hour or so and determined that these are the best skewers available to buy. I bought the 18". After using them 5 times on my grill Weber 4431001 Spirit E-320 Propane Grill, Black I can confirm that they are the best available. I've run them through the dishwasher at least that many times and they don't have one spot of rust. The tips come to a point and are extremely sharp. I've had no problem skewering food onto them.

2 negatives: just like all other skewers, they are a bit flimsy. I can't bend any other stainless steel kitchen products that I have, but I can bend these. Also, they are quite wide, which is great for keeping the food in place, but it causes some vegetables to break in half while I'm trying to skewer them on. I don't think I'd have this problem if they were skinnier, though that would definitely make them flimsy.

I think they have these in the wrong category too. They should be in Patio, Lawn & Garden > Grills & Outdoor Cooking > Barbecue Utensils > Barbecue Skewers. Instead they're only in Patio, Lawn & Garden.

Weber 2740301 Summit S-470 Propane Tuck-Away Rotisserie Grill, Stainless Steel Review

A very hiqh-quality piece, this is my third or fourth Weber gas grill, not counting the several charcoal kettles I've had over the years. Quite heavy, much more than my Genesis model that it replaced. I read the reviews before purchasing and want to reinforce the need to buy the proper (and non-vented!) cover for this grill.

If you leave it uncovered in the rain, be prepared for a real mess. The grease collection system acts like its supposed to, funneling everything that falls through the grate into the drip pan - including rain that gets in through all the vent holes above the burners. Even a moderate rain, 1/2 inch or less, will fill the drip pan to overflowing and the grease inside will float off the top and into the interior cabinet. Unpleasant and messy to clean up.

Napoleon P500RSIBNSS Prestige Gas Grill with Rear and Side Infrared Burner Stainless Steel Doors and Lid Review

Everything we read seemed to indicate a solid stainless steel body. It is not. The ignitor switch was broken upon arrival and although Napoleon replaced it quickly, the unit was cheaply made to begin with. For the price, it is not at all what we expected. The grill itself is fine and will probably service us well, but I was looking for something that would last for decades with some items on it naturally having to be replaced, but the body is like every other average grill on the market and will eventually rust. Also, the instructions were very poor and it took us far longer to assemble than I would have expected. All in all, just disappointed.
